Summary

The cast reference sidebar splits the decode-* family: cast decode-abi and cast decode-calldata sit under "ABI Commands", while cast decode-error, cast decode-event, cast decode-string and cast decode-transaction fall through to "Utility Commands". #1483 asked for the ABI Commands part to stop missing the decode functions from the decode-XXX rename (foundry-rs/foundry#9413).

This groups all six decode-* commands under "ABI Commands":

• scripts/gen_output/help.rs: add decode-error, decode-event, decode-string and decode-transaction to the ABI Commands arm of categorize_command, so the grouping survives regeneration.
• sidebar/cast-cli-reference.ts: move the four entries into the ABI Commands group, in the alphabetical position the generator sorts them into (after decode-calldata).

Verification

• Command set checked against the CLI version the book documents (cast 1.8.6-nightly, commit 845d99cd, per src/pages/reference/versions.mdx): the generated cast --help output in src/pages/reference/cast/cast.mdx lists exactly these six decode-* commands, and each already has a reference page — only the sidebar grouping was missing them.
• vp check sidebar/cast-cli-reference.ts passes (format and lint).
• bun x vocs build completes, and the built sidebar config shows the four commands inside the ABI Commands group and no longer under Utility Commands.
• scripts/gen_output.sh was not re-run: it rewrites the entire generated surface and requires the Foundry binaries and networked examples. The sidebar edit is the deterministic result of the help.rs mapping change — same group membership and ordering the generator emits.
