A common downstream issue for HTML presentation tools is that once slides are distributed as screenshots, page images, or image-heavy PDFs, users can no longer make real edits in PowerPoint.
We are building slide-alchemy, an open-source workflow that reconstructs picture-style slides into editable PPTX with:
- real text boxes
- editable simple geometry where practical
- PNG assets for complex icons/decorations
- a regenerated clean base instead of placing the full screenshot back into PPT
This may be useful for WebSlides users who need an editable PowerPoint after visual export/sharing.
Possible flow:
- WebSlides screenshots / exported page images -> Slide Alchemy -> editable PPTX
