The WebDX CG agreed on 2025-12-18 to fold the two outline features into one, keeping the id outline and its more recent Widely Available date: web-platform-dx#3610 (comment) The 18 compat keys from outlines (outline-color, outline-style, outline-width, outline-offset and their values) now live under outline, and outlines becomes a moved feature that redirects there. The regenerated dist keeps the status outline already had: Baseline Newly Available 2023-03-27, Widely Available 2025-09-27 (Safari 16.4, where the outline shorthand first followed border-radius). Hi @jsabutis, looking at the meeting notes it seems like there was discussion of merging it but not consensus (personally I think the merge ought to happen in the other direction). It might also be blocked by feature merging (see #4083). In short, this PR is premature, so I'm going to close this. Thanks for your understanding. |
