I would also love to scrape signed commits to create a contributors page
Would you want to scrape all our repos at once and consolidate the results into a page on the website? I think that would be most elegant, but unless there's a premade solution it would also take the most work.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. It seems like an elegant approach. You could probably hit the GitHub API at website build time, generate the page, and put it on a cron to rebuild it periodically.
