The installed AI SDK JSON readers lack the maintainer's declared-response-size guard. Update
aito 6.0.214 and@ai-sdk/openaito 3.0.77, changing only their seven resolved AI-chain dependency records. The new eight-case regression uses the actual Chat and Responses adapters with small streamed fixtures: ordinary success/error controls remain intact, while a declared oversize response is rejected and cancelled before any body bytes are read.The upstream default is 2 GiB, not an application-sized memory cap. This proof exercises early Content-Length rejection; it does not allocate that volume, test an unadvertised cumulative limit, or establish an attacker-controlled production gateway response. Validation on the combined
v0.8base44458fec: all 966 app/API tests passed on Node 20.20.2 with two workers; nonincremental app/API types, scoped lint and the original-config production build passed. All 18 compiled desktop/mobile AI draft and Timeline cases passed with one worker and zero retries. The prior exact before/after regression and refreshed audit are preserved; four scoped AI package findings were removed, and six existing findings remain. Full exact-head CI is required before merge.These are actual disposable compiled fixtures from the fresh SDK-integrated bundle, showing inherited UI behavior. They are not a live AI-provider request or a human production account.
