Notes

• alethia-reth v1.4.1 is marked pre-release on GitHub (v1.3.1 still carries the Latest flag). v1.4.0 has no published image; v1.4.1 supersedes it with the same node code. No DB migration or resync is needed.
• alethia-reth v1.4.1 enables discv5 by default, so --enable-discv5-discovery is now a no-op. It is still accepted, so the compose command is left unchanged. The renamed reth_optimism_trie_* metrics are not used by the bundled Grafana dashboard.
• taiko-alethia-client v2.7.0 fetches blobs from GET /eth/v1/beacon/blobs/{slot} instead of the deprecated blob_sidecars endpoint, and falls back to BLOB_SERVER_URL if that fails. Operators running Prysm as their L1 beacon node should be on v7.1.8+ (Fix makeslice panic in blob versioned-hash filtering for duplicate commitments OffchainLabs/prysm#17199).
• Hoodi jumps from v2.5.0 to v2.7.0. The only driver flag removed in v2.6.0 (--p2p.syncTimeout) is not used by script/start-driver-hoodi.sh.

Validation

• Both new images exist in us-docker.pkg.dev/evmchain/images for linux/amd64 and linux/arm64.
• docker compose config passes for mainnet (.env.sample) and Hoodi (.env.sample.hoodi) with both the reth_execution_engine and geth_execution_engine profiles, and resolves to the new images.
• Ran alethia-reth node --help and taiko-client driver --help from the new images. Every flag used in the compose files and script/start-driver*.sh is accepted. The hidden flags (--enable-discv5-discovery, --p2p.useragent, --p2p.priv.raw) were checked against an unknown-flag negative control.
