The idea is to add it as an extra regex, so that users can choose whether they want to support legacy, extended or both.

Note: that I've also made the existing PDB ID regex more strict by replacing \\w by [a-zA-Z0-9], i.e. strictly alphanumeric (no underscore).

Note that the existing regexes were used currently by redwood and yosemite exclusively.
