SQL Nexus is a tool that helps you identify the root cause of SQL Server performance issues. It loads and analyzes performance data collected by SQL LogScout or PSSDIAG. It can dramatically reduce the amount of time you spend manually analyzing data. Visit Getting Started page.

- AI-assisted diagnostics: Analyze collected SQL Server diagnostic data with GitHub Copilot through the local SQL Nexus MCP server.
- Fast, easy data loading: Quickly load SQL Trace files, T-SQL script output (including SQL DMV queries), and Performance Monitor logs into a SQL Server database for analysis. These facilities use bulk-load APIs to insert data quickly.
- Performance Monitor analysis: Use the Perfmon importer to import and visualize Windows Performance Monitor data.
- ERRORLOG and XEL analysis: Import SQL Server ERRORLOG files and supported Extended Events data with the ERRORLOG and Custom XEL importers.
- Trace aggregation: Identify the top N most expensive queries using the native Trace Managed importer or RML.
- Command-line operation: Run SQL Nexus from the command line to support scripted and repeatable workflows.
- Visual reports: Explore loaded data through a variety of charts and reports.
- Wait statistics analysis: Visualize blocking and other resource-contention issues in data collected by PSSDIAG.
- Full-featured reporting engine: SQL Nexus uses the SQL Server Reporting Services client-side report viewer and does not require a Reporting Services instance. Zoom in or out to examine server performance during a particular time window, expand or collapse report regions for easier navigation, and export reports to Excel, PDF, and other formats.
