I sent two separate commits, one for updating the example app and another for updating the plugin, since updating the plugin makes the test app to fail, and updating the test app fails if the plugin is not updating because of gradle 9 having kotlin plugin enabled.

Tested on Android 17 and iOS 27 beta, all's working well!

Don't know if we want to mark this PR as draft until next branch is ready, just to avoid it getting accidentally merged.
