Summary

• Own classifier kind invalid_argument for Error: RetriableError/T: [invalid_argument] with transient: false so opt-in auto-bridge / Continues cannot death-spiral (bug(cursor): invalid_argument RetriableError auto-bridges via unknown_t_prefix catch-all tiann/hapi#1522).
• Banner + notification copy: plain-language Cursor/model-route refusal; trying another model (including leaving auto temporarily) is advisory only - never forced, auto stays first-class.
• Soft bridgeable kinds (canceled, unavailable, …) unchanged.

Tip vs soup note

On this tiann#987 tip the catch-all unknown_t_prefix is already transient: false. Estate soup/driver still has shared/src/cursorInlineModelError.ts catch-all at transient: true (what enabled the incident). Soup remat/heal must apply the same own-kind gate on the shared classifier.

Test plan

• bun test classifier + bridge + modelErrorCopy + ModelErrorBanner (bug(cursor): invalid_argument RetriableError auto-bridges via unknown_t_prefix catch-all tiann/hapi#1522 cases)
• bun typecheck (cli/web/hub) after worktree bun install
• Dogfood on :3006 after soup layer/heal (no forced model pin)
