Using it together with function-extra-resources

Hi Team,

Thanks a lot for providing this Crossplane function for Cue. We're using it for authoring our Compositions and XRDs and we have a use case where we need inputs from other resources which are created by other compositions.

function-extra-resources provides this capability and we wanted to ask if function-cue supports it or not? We tried adding function-extra-resources in our function pipeline but function-cue is not able to see those fields (see into: XProject).

so, function-cue exposes the extra resources based on the fact that is exposes the entire request object but doesn't provide a way to specify requirements to crossplane. This needs to be implemented. Would you be willing to do a PR for this?

Sorry, I was wrong above. It doesn't expose ExtraResources because it clones the request and copies only the things that a function implementation might need (this code predates the addition of extra resources which should be exposed)

Should be a 1-line fix here to also copy extra resources

Are you able to access them with just #request.context["apiextensions.crossplane.io/extra-resources"] ?

I put up a pr I think @gotwarlost is saying to copy the extra resources, but the ai seems to think that you can access this already with the context #29
