Give each personal site a small doorway to the rest of its author's internet. Instead of a bare list of links, an author can write “Mina makes beautiful things out of wood” or “The best notes on very long walks.”
First version
- An optional “Internet neighbors” section with up to twelve manually curated sites.
- Each entry has a name, URL, and one short personal introduction; authors can reorder, preview, and remove entries.
- A small “Visit a neighbor” link chooses one of the author's listed sites and clearly shows its name and destination before navigation.
- Everything works with ordinary websites, including sites outside Postcard.
Acceptance
- Only the owner can edit the list; the section stays absent when disabled or empty.
- Links and introductions render safely, allow ordinary HTTP/HTTPS destinations, and require no automatic remote metadata fetching.
- Long names and URLs fit on mobile, and every destination is usable by keyboard.
- Changes appear correctly on subdomains, custom domains, and SOLO sites.
- Test ownership, validation, ordering, empty state, and rendering.
A small, human-curated blogroll would be the useful first release. Automatic reciprocal links or a network-wide webring can be considered separately.
