nightly_versions.pyhas a hard coded list that wasn't maintained for a while. It missed not just carbon but also: algol68, analysis, android-java, android-kotlin, carbon, co2, csharp, fsharp, gimple, glsl, hook, hylo, il, julia, mojo, openclc, python, spirv, tablegen, vb, wasm. While there,
compiler_id_lookup.pyhad a similar hard coded list of compiler_ids with many gaps.ce_install list --show-compiler-idswould be missing: c3, clojure, cmakescript, cobol, cpp2_cppfront, crystal, cuda, cutedsl, erlang, haskell, java, kotlin, lean, llvm, llvm_mir, lua, mach, modula2, nix, numba, ocaml, odin, pascal, perl, ptx, raku, razorforge, ruby, sail, scala, sfpi, slang, snowball, solidity, spice, sway, triton, typescript, v, vala, vyper, ylc, and yul. This PR brings both lists up to date.
Claude had an interesting suggestion on this: instead of manually maintaining such lists we can inspect the CE sources - via Github API. For example, we can load
*.amazon.propertiesto derive a list of languages with nightlies. I didn't go there.
