Transaction notes and memos are currently stored locally, but they could be much more useful in the app. I’d like to suggest two improvements.
Use notes as transaction titles
If a transaction has a note, use it as the title in the history screen instead of just "Received" or "Sent". I think the history screen should look like this:
This would make the history easier to read. Users could see what each transaction was for without needing to open it to read the note.
Add search to the transaction history
As I mentioned in #2839, the filters should include a search bar so users can find transactions by:
- Note or memo text
- Transaction ID
- Sending or receiving address
These changes would make it much easier to find specific transactions. I think this, along with the other improvements proposed in #2839, would be a big step forward for Cake Wallet’s usability.
