Dot `.` does not correctly repeat a ciw change on another word

Summary

After changing a word with ciw, typing replacement text, and returning to Normal mode, pressing . on another word does not repeat the change as expected. I expect . to replace the entire word under the cursor with the same replacement text.

Reproduction Steps

• Enter the following text: apple banana
• Place the cursor on the first character of apple.
• Press ciw, type orange, then press Esc.
• Move the cursor to the first character of banana.
• Press .

I never use ., but I just checked and apparently helix . just repeat the last insertion. As we already handle the operators (e.g. ciw) separately, I think this feature can be added without affecting Helix source code. Personally, I can't work on this issue anytime soon.

Note: Helix has macros as well in case that helps.
