Why

Follow-up to #310, which merged while its monitoring investigation was running. The original post used “What shipped” although ActivityWatch/activitywatch#1531 and ActivityWatch/aw-qt#143 are still open. The independent merge gate correctly identified that contradiction.

Changes

• Label the title, excerpt and opening as an implementation preview, not a stable release announcement.
• Remove unsupported universal compositor support, binary-size and implementation-effort claims.
• Explain that executable discovery is not a capability/health check and that SKIP_SERVER_RUST builds omit the Rust watcher.
• Separate passing build/tests from the outstanding merge, release and native packaged-process checks.
• Regenerate the Open Graph image with the corrected title.

The canonical brain-source post was corrected in commit 770293c378.

Verification

• Full make build passed.
• GitHub link validation passed across 1,704 generated HTML files.
• git diff --check and hook-enabled commit passed.
