Each Reth instance is spawned with `--instance N` (`node/src/bin/stake_and_checkpoint.rs:134`, and
the same in the other e2e bins). Reth maps that to HTTP `8545 - (N - 1)`, WS `8546 + 2 * (N - 1)`,
auth `8551 + 100 * (N - 1)` and discovery `30303 + (N - 1)`, so the HTTP endpoints count **down**
from 8545, as in [running a local network](running-local-network.md#ports), while WS and auth count
up. `types/src/reth.rs` always passes `--ws` and blocks until Reth reports both the WS and the auth
server started, so those ports are bound on every run. Metrics and the enclave mock server port are
passed explicitly by each bin (`9001 + node` and `1744{node}`).

Each node's Summit RPC, admin RPC and P2P ports are `3030 + node * 10`, `3031 + node * 10` and
`26600 + node * 10`, so the ranges run past the four genesis nodes: `stake-and-checkpoint`,
`stake-and-join-with-outdated-checkpoint` and `sync-from-genesis` add a fifth node, and `observer`
runs at slot 5.
