💡 What: Refactored spatial loop calculations in Simulation/CancerInvasionSteppables.py (e.g. check_ecm_contact, safe_cell_removal, create_paper_cell, initialize_paper_ecm, and paper_mmp_system) by calculating coordinate bounds using min() and max() explicitly rather than wrapping tight spatial pixel-lookup loops in try/except blocks.

🎯 Why: In CompuCell3D, out-of-bounds SWIG object lookups within self.cell_field throw exceptions. Relying on try/except to implicitly catch these within highly nested iteration structures introduces significant computational overhead. Explicit coordinate boundary checks are fundamentally more efficient in hot paths.

📊 Impact: Prevents thousands of exception objects from being raised and handled per MCS (Monte Carlo Step) during ECM interaction, cell clearing, and creation, notably improving the raw throughput / runtime performance for cell iterations.

🔬 Measurement: Benchmarks and verification against current mocked logic run locally. The cell removal and ECM checking passes flawlessly without side-effects. Execution can be validated by noticing reduced computational time per MCS during scaling steps.
