Publish Spanish overview page and verify Spanish translation of Next Steps

Task

• Publish the Spanish version of the UpToCode overview page (believed to be completed but not yet posted)
• Verify whether the Next Steps page is available in Spanish
• Ensure language selection is functional for all translated content (see also Menu disappears when you click any language other than English #508 — menu disappears when non-English language is selected)

@nonprofittechy and @ll-jgraszer — I have some questions that came up as I was working through the different tasks listed above:

• Where can I find the overview page? I wasn't sure whether that was referring to one of the screens in the Docassemble interview or somewhere on the WordPress site. I went ahead and tested out different screens might fit that description (see images below) and they're all working at the moment. If it was referring to the Home page on the WordPress site, the Spanish translation is also working right now, but the issue with the disappearing language links at the top of the page still persists.

• I also wasn't sure if the Next Steps page mentioned above was referring to one of the screens in the Docassemble interview, the "Next Steps" template docs that are generated at the end of the interview, or somewhere on the WordPress site. I also went ahead and tested the most likely places I could find in the Docassemble interview: the screen associated with main_triage_screen and the final download screen. The Spanish translation is working in both of them, although there are still some sections in the latter that need a Spanish translation. (see images below)

• For the last task item, I noticed this comment on issue Menu disappears when you click any language other than English #508, saying that the pages for the links have to first. If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like this might require some more time on WordPress to build out those translated pages. I'm less familiar with the way WordPress sets up translated pages, but it looks like we currently only have setups for English and Spanish (see image below).

• One last thing I realized as I was working through this issue: I will also need to create a separate issue to add Spanish translations to any content I've added while working through the remaining NLA milestone issues.
