How to input different patient multi-sample data #13

Description

@Tato14

Thanks for the great tool.

I was wondering how to input multiple patients with multiple samples. Should I run the tool for every patient merging the mutations from the different samples in the same input? Or there is any way to input all patients at once?

From what I understood, the sample column from example_input.csv refers to sample but not patient, right?

    Thank you for your interest in our tool.

    Generally speaking, the sample refers to samples from the same patient and the tool will build tumor clone tree based on these samples (for the same patient). If you want to build trees for multiple patients separately, you can probably write a for loop to generate the trees for different patients.

    However, if you are interested in building a single tree for multiple patients with multiple samples, you can then put all the mutation information in the same sheet but the sample name need to be unique (for example, patient1_sample1).
