The name comes from "Emulated Distribution Of Linux", also known as EdOL. This repository's functionality is creating a Linux emulated machine inside one of your devices like a USB drive. Soon it will be able to emulate programs, scripting utilities, Python and other coding source languages and root utilities for testing.
