This commit fixes issues with scalar_3D_t and its .grad. operator
and adds a passing test that computes a stagnation-point velocity
field as the gradient of a scalar potential. To ensure three
non-zero velocity components in xyz space, the flow is in a plane
rotated around the x axis pi/4 radians from the xy plane.
