My first steps in Game Development
Project Description: As a unique birthday present, I curated this package of my very first games developed using Pygame. It features a central selection menu where the player can choose between a jump game, Snake, and Hangman. The experience is framed by a meta-task: earning specific in-game achievements to unlock hints for a real-life gift. When a target score is reached in any of the games, an individual achievement is unlocked and becomes viewable in the achievements menu. Each game operates with its own independent mini-menu for starting and score display.
Development Note: I challenged myself to complete this entire project within 5 days. Unfortunately, the planned Space Invaders game was not finished in time for the deadline, so a replacement text screen is displayed instead.
Main Menu | Achievements System
Hangman Game | Jumper Game
Snake Game | Postponed Space Invaders Screen
---Project Description: This project represents my very first experience programming with C++. It is a classic 'endless runner' game where the player must jump over various hazards. The game includes an implemented score to track the player's progress.
In-game Action | Hazard Dodging
