Release a new version

Can you please release a new version? The latest stable release is two years old, and there are many changes in master since then.

@jirutka, @pfps, sorry, the project was on the back burner for a while. I am finally taking a step back from the Python packaging work I was doing in both hobby and professional capacities, which was a bit intense and energy-draining for me.

I'm hoping to catch up with my other projects. Until the end of the year, at least, I should be working on the Arch Linux packaging project funded by the STF, so I am hopeful I'll be able to recover from the mental drain my previous work put me under.

Regardless, if anyone wants to help with maintenance, I am happy to collaborate.

Wow, how did you manage to get this fund? I’d love to have one for Alpine Linux.
