I consider relying on this plug-in. I want to ask in advance if this project is still maintained?

Hey there,

Only so far as if it breaks anything in Apache Maven - AFAIK it should still work under the upcoming Maven 4 releases but I've not tested that (mainly as I can't switch to M4 for other reasons in the one project I use this plugin).

I've been sorely tempted to remove several goals (mostly the various REPL goals) and leaving it mostly as compile/test, but haven't had a compelling reason to do so yet.

If closure is your primary project language, you may want to consider one of the other build tools like lein/boot, but you're mixing Clojure with Java etc. we're still viable.

So, the essence is that the plugin is still maintained, just not actively developed. I do need to check through the issues and see if anything is actually requiring fixes or just questions needing answers.

I am relying on this project, too. I am fixing things if something I need doesn't work. Mostly it's all good. BTW, @talios for the love of G.d please don't remove anything,

Ok :) I won't :). I saw a recent PR come in which I'll look at tomorrow; I might need to look at the publishing setup, as central publishing has changed a bit since the last release.

I'm no longer doing much Clojure at $work anymore, so whilst the plugins not actively being worked on, it's maintained as we still need it to build things :)

For the publishing setup, you are right, things have changed.
But if my memory serves me well, it is simpler than before. This is what I use in the pom:

        <groupId>org.sonatype.central</groupId>
        <artifactId>central-publishing-maven-plugin</artifactId>
        <version>0.11.0</version>
        <extensions>true</extensions>
        <configuration>
          <publishingServerId>central</publishingServerId>
          <autoPublish>true</autoPublish>
          <waitUntil>published</waitUntil>
        </configuration>
      </plugin>

No need to wait until published as it takes a while, but I let it run in the terminal. When the Maven taks is finished, it means it's available on Maven central.
