Summary

Closes #200, #201, #202, #203, #204. Addresses #63.

Converts the five Tier 1 BYOK stubs into working OpenAI-compatible adapters:

Implementation details

Each adapter:

• Follows the exact shape of packages/ai/openai/src/index.ts (reference adapter)
• Uses native fetch for HTTP calls — no additional dependencies
• Reads API key via ctx.secret() (vault-managed, not process.env)
• Short-circuits with [dry-run] when ctx.dryRun is set, before any network call
• Posts to /v1/chat/completions with model, messages, optional max_tokens, temperature, and ...opts.extra
• Returns text, model, inputTokens, outputTokens from data.usage
• Throws a descriptive error on non-ok responses: ${Provider} ${status}: ${body.slice(0, 200)}
• Includes tokenSetup() for sh1pt promote ai setup --platform <name> flow

Test coverage

Each adapter includes a vitest test suite with:

• short-circuits dry-run before network calls — no fetch called
• posts chat completions requests and maps usage tokens — verifies URL, headers, body, and return shape
• includes status and response body excerpt on errors — verifies error message format

Test plan

• pnpm vitest run packages/ai/groq passes
