OpenCrawling is built on Java 25, taking advantage of cutting-edge JVM preview features like Structured Concurrency and Virtual Threads to handle high-throughput crawling and Kafka ingestion.
As Java 25 is relatively new, we want to make sure contributing is as smooth as possible.
How has your IDE setup (IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, VS Code) been with --enable-preview flags?
Have you run into any compiler or runtime bottlenecks with virtual thread execution logs?
Do you have suggestions on how we can optimize our bootstrap configurations?
Let us know if you run into any build issues or if you have ideas on improving the developer setup!
