Sudden increase in token/quota consumption after VS Code update

Type: Performance Issue

I updated VS Code to the latest version yesterday. Since then, while using the same model as before in Codex, I noticed that the 5-hour quota is being exhausted significantly faster than usual. I haven't changed my usage habits, but the quota ran out in a much shorter time.
Observed Behavior：
Before Update: The 5-hour quota usually lasted for a full session of work.
After Update: The quota is consumed rapidly, even with minimal prompts or code changes.
Suspected Causes：
It's possible that the new VS Code version or the plugin update is sending more background context (longer prompts) or triggering redundant API calls.
