A lot of the rules and advices (like <h1> .. <h6>) can be automated. How about making a liner? to automate and forget about it?

Funny you ask. I've been thinking about exactly this, and yes, I do want it. An automated checker that runs the checklist against a live URL is very much on the roadmap.

Someone's already taken a first swing: @DhrRob opened #8 ("Add an automated auditor"), a /audit/ page backed by a Cloudflare Pages function that checked ~56 of the ~108 checklist items automatically from a URL. A genuinely promising start, but not quite mergeable yet: each automated test still needs verifying for correctness, and there were some a11y/UX rough edges, so I closed it for now. We're not there yet.

The direction I'm leaning: keep the spec itself as the machine-readable source of truth (the MCP audit_url tool, /llms.txt, per-page .md, and the new /checklist.md), then build the checker on top of that, leaning on existing engines (axe-core, Lighthouse, the Nu HTML checker) for the items they already cover rather than reinventing them. The roughly half of items that can't be tested reliably without human or AI judgment stay manual.

So: not there yet, but wanted. If you'd like to help push it forward, I'd love that. I'll keep this open as the tracking thread.
