For our event, we have a restriction on how many people can be present in the building at once. To get some insight on how many people are inside, we check in the attendees and then when they leave we check them out. The issue is, checking in is easy, but checking out requires us to do a lot of work. We have a separate person for checking in and checking out, but the checkout takes a long time since we have to ask the attendee to show us their ticket, we then have to find them, and finally manually check them out. This slows us down a lot and causes a big line to form at the checkout. We would really like to avoid this, as it makes keeping track of the amount of attendees really difficult.
Describe the solution you'd like
What would be ideal is a way to scan the ticket QR code to check the attendee out, currently we can only scan to check in. Scanning the ticket should automatically check that attendee out of the event. Of course, we should still have the option to manually check them out too, but scanning a QR code would speed up our workflow quite a bit.
Additional context
It wouldn't matter if it was a separate page / section / option or button somewhere, just a way to quickly scan a QR to check that attendee out would be enough.
