Doesnt seem to work with the latest version of Davinci resolve

Just upgraded and the ffmpeg options just aren't showing up. Anyone having the same issue? I'm on linux.

Seems to work fine with the previous version.

The plugin works for me with DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.0.2 on Linux. You can do the following to troubleshoot the issue:

Check the logs at ~/.local/share/DaVinciResolve/logs/ResolveDebug.txt. You can use the following command to only get the lines mentioning FFmpeg:

grep -i ffmpeg ~/.local/share/DaVinciResolve/logs/ResolveDebug.txt

Check if any dynamically linked libraries are missing:

ldd /opt/resolve/IOPlugins/ffmpeg_encoder_plugin.dvcp.bundle/Contents/Linux-x86-64/ffmpeg_encoder_plugin.dvcp

Sorry it took forever to get back here to reply. Turns out I needed to get rid of some old libs.. took a ton of trouble shooting to figure out what the issue was. This completely fixed the issue, and all my encoding options came back.

cd /opt/resolve/libs

sudo mkdir -p disabled-libraries

sudo mv libglib-2.0.so* disabled-libraries/
sudo mv libgio-2.0.so* disabled-libraries/
sudo mv libgmodule-2.0.so* disabled-libraries/
sudo mv libgobject-2.0.so* disabled-libraries/

I don't run into this issue because I installed Resolve with the AUR which already removes these old libraries that made the system version of FFmpeg fail to load. However, DaVinci Resolve 21.0.3 removed these libraries, so this workaround is no longer needed for the latest version.
