SCOTUS justice profiles and bench overview completeness #274

Description

@ryparker-ai-assistant

Summary

Strengthen justice profile pages and the current bench overview so users can understand who is on the Court and how each justice fits into the institution.

Problem Statement

The live bench module is already useful, but justice pages should feel complete and intentional, not just biographical stubs. SCOTUS.wiki should make it easy to move from the current bench into each justice's profile and understand tenure, appointing president, role on the Court, and related case context.

Scope

  • Review justice profile completeness and missing fields
  • Improve current bench presentation and navigation into profiles
  • Clarify appointment, seat, tenure, and role information
  • Identify any missing overview context that should live on bench/profile pages

Out of Scope

  • Historical justice database expansion beyond current priorities
  • Long-form biography writing for every justice
  • Opinion authorship analytics deep dives

Acceptance Criteria

  • Every current justice has a profile page that feels publication-ready
  • Bench overview links cleanly into justice profiles
  • Appointment, tenure, and role information are clearly presented
  • The bench overview helps users understand the Court as an institution, not just nine disconnected profiles
