1. Get GitHub Copilot

1.1 Option 1️⃣: Get Copilot from your organization

As a member of an organization, you can request access to GitHub Copilot Business from your organization's owners. Click here to know more.

1.2 Option 2️⃣: Get Copilot Trial

• Browse to https://gh.io/copilot-free and follow the steps.

2. Configure your environment

2.1 Option 1️⃣: Local environment

• Install or update to the latest Visual Studio Code.
• Install the GitHub Copilot extension.
• Install the GitHub Copilot Chat extension.
• Install or update to the latest Azure CLI.

2.2 Option 2️⃣: GitHub Codespace

Just click on the following button to create a new GitHub Codespace:

The Codespace is already configured with the VS Code extensions, Azure CLI and multiple SDKs.

3. Login to GitHub and Azure

• Sign in to GitHub from VS Code.
• Open a terminal and Sign in to Azure with Azure CLI.
